Welcome to Animals Back in Action

Animals Back in Action is dedicated to providing a gentle, safe and effective form of manipulation and massage therapy with the aim of restoring balance and health to the neuromuscular system of animals.

What therapy can help with:
  • Uneven or irregular gait
  • Stiffness
  • Lameness or signs of pain
  • Asymmetry in movement or one-sidedness
  • Poor performance or unexplained resistance to training
  • Discomfort when grooming
  • Uncharacteristic changes in behaviour, performance or temperament
  • Recovery and rehabilitation after injury or trauma.

We offer your animals care from a fully qualified McTimoney Animal Manipulation and Equine Sports Massage practitioner trained to postgraduate level on a mobile basis travelling throughout the North Island from a base near Gladstone in the Wairarapa.

We help animals that suffer from a variety of health issues. As a chiropractic technique, McTimoney manipulation helps traditional neck and back problems, but has also produced wonderful results with a variety of musculoskeletal problems. Mc Timoney manipulation is safe, non-invasive and works!

For more information on the techniques used please click on the McTimoney Animal manipulation or Equine Sports Massage page

Veterinary Endorsement

The McTimoney Animal Association is now recognised by British Equine Veterinary Association as a musculoskeletal paraprofesional group.
BEVA stated 'It is recognised that some horses with musculo-skeletal pathology may benefit by receiving treatment from non-veterinary therapists as defined by the Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 1962 (e.g. McTimoney manipulation practitioners, physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors).    BEVA works with a number of musculo-skeletal allied professional groups and publishes lists of suitably qualified post-graduate
members of these groups who meet certain criteria.
